Municipal waterworks do their best, but due to the sheer number of pollutants, they are only able to retain a limited amount.
The rest is inevitably filtered out in your body.
The alternative for many people: mineral water from the supermarket and beverage store.
According to the Mineral Water Ordinance, this is tested less for pollutants than tap water.
As with tap water, current legal regulations do not guarantee that mineral water is free from pollutants.

The powerful interior of the Aquadea-Q1 filter cartridge
- The Aquadea Q1 filter cartridge is used in the Ukato under-sink filter. Regular testing by the Ehrlich Institute guarantees the high filter quality.
- The filter cartridge consists of a 0.8 µm carbon block (high-density activated carbon) in combination with an ethylene microfiber membrane.
- The combination of an activated carbon block with patented Aqualen® fiber and a clinically proven hollow fiber membrane produces optimal filtration results and guarantees you superior drinking water quality. The Ukato Duo's powerful Aquadea-Q1 core is complemented by the Aquadea-Q8 filter cartridge.

The Ukato must not be installed after a low-pressure boiler located under the sink. The slight backpressure may cause the low-pressure boiler to leak.
Installation:
Please note: You will need a plumbing professional to install the under-sink filter.

Please call us or send us an email: We can discuss with you in person whether the under-sink filters can be easily connected to your individual kitchen connection or whether an additional tap including an additional connection set is required during installation.

The water filter devices have the same performance because the same filter cartridge
is used.
The first difference is the design. The Okato Nature water filter has a wooden head and base, is more solid, has a longer, thicker spout, and a wider base.
The Okato Style water filter has a plastic head and a narrower base. The spout is thinner and shorter. It's smaller and lighter overall, which is advantageous for travel, use in a camper van, or small kitchens.
The Okato Nature water filter, on the other hand, is well suited for use with multi-level aerators or kitchen sinks with very wide rims.

The filter performance is between 82% and 98%
Basically, let the water run through until it's cool (the same temperature as straight from the tap). Depending on the filter type, this can be up to 10 liters. If you're away for 3-4 weeks or longer, the cartridges can be stored in the refrigerator. For under-counter models, this means: Turn off the water supply, remove the cartridges, twist them out, wrap them airtight in cling film, and place them in the refrigerator. The cartridges can be stored there for up to four months and then reused. Filter replacement will then be extended by the storage time.
