Design countertop filter in wood & stainless steel
A design countertop filter with exceptional purifying power. Many people worry about the quality of their tap water and wonder what quality their drinking water at home really has.
The fact is: under the German Drinking Water Ordinance, only around 45 substances are tested. “The rest” goes undetected, yet still affects the human organism.
Aquadea® designed the Okato Nature to remove harmful contaminants and germs from your tap water. Beyond its above-average filtration, it stands out through its aesthetic design of stainless steel and turned wood.
We recommend this product if you want to combine outstanding filtration with a refined look in your kitchen.

The powerful core of the Aquadea-Q1 filter cartridge
Thanks to the patented quick-change system, the cartridge can be changed hygienically and easily in one minute – an unbeatable advantage over conventional countertop filter systems.
The Okato Nature uses the Aquadea-Q1 cartridge. Regular testing at Institut Ehrlich guarantees its high filter quality.
The cartridge combines a 0.8 µm carbon block (highly compressed activated carbon) with a Japanese micro hollow-fiber membrane. The interplay of an activated carbon block with the patented Aqualen® fiber and a clinically proven hollow-fiber membrane delivers the best filtration results and ensures great-tasting drinking water.
Replacement interval: Please always replace the Aquadea-Q1 cartridge after 6 months. The germ barrier is guaranteed to remain germ-tight for up to 6 months after it first gets wet. The filter capacity is about 11,000 liters per cartridge – more than even a large household usually uses in that time.

Both water filter units deliver the same performance, as they use the same
filter cartridge.
The difference lies first of all in the design. The Okato Nature water filter has a wooden head and a wooden base, is more solid, has a longer, thicker spout and a wider base.
The Okato Style water filter has a plastic head and a narrower base. Its spout is thinner and shorter. Overall it is smaller and lighter, which is an advantage when traveling, in a motorhome or in small kitchens.
The Okato Nature water filter, on the other hand, is well suited for use with multi-level vortexers or with kitchen sinks that have a very wide rim.
To purify water on a material level, you need a water filter.

Yes, Aquadea water filters also remove medication residues.
The filtration performance here lies between 82% and 98%.
As a general rule, let the water run until it comes out cool (the same temperature as straight from the tap); depending on the type of filter, this can be up to 10 liters. If you are away for 3–4 weeks or longer, the cartridges can be stored in the refrigerator. This means: for under-sink versions, shut off the water supply, remove the cartridges by unscrewing them, wrap them airtight in plastic wrap and place them in the refrigerator. The cartridges can be stored there for up to four months and then used again. The filter change interval is then extended by the storage period.
