Unio Mystica 21
“Dance of the Soul.” An instrument for water, built for a single home.
In a castle workshop in Bavaria, an instrument for water takes shape. The Unio Mystica 21 does not come off the shelf; it is composed: twenty-one vortex stages, sixty-three crystal chambers, each crystal set by hand at the point of reversal in its chamber. Every piece is numbered, and no two are alike. Before construction begins, Werner Habermeier personally attunes the crystal composition to the water and the home it will serve.

Water, moved the way nature moves it
A mountain stream never forces its water. It lets it circle, fold and turn around a calm center. Viktor Schauberger called this implosion: movement that draws inward instead of pushing outward.
In the Unio Mystica, the water passes through twenty-one such implosion stages. At the still point of each chamber, where the vortex reverses, it meets pure crystal. Sixty-three times the water touches stones selected for this one instrument alone.
What leaves the last chamber is water in motion as at a spring: soft, dense and full of the finest bubbles, far smaller than a hair.
