Aquadea® Vik 20" stainless-steel whole-house filter with 2-stage composite carbon block filter cartridges | for hot water
Application: hot water supply for apartments, small pools, wellness areas etc.
As a special feature, the AQUALEN® activated carbon blocks of the VIK series have, in addition to the usual pre-filtration by a filter fleece, a high-performance activated carbon block with two filter stages in one.
This staged filtration extends the service life:
- Filter stage
20 µm composite activated carbon block made from coconut shell, AQUALEN® activated ion-exchange microfibres and bactericidal silver doping.
- Filter stage
5 µm composite activated carbon block made from coconut shell, AQUALEN® activated ion-exchange microfibres and bactericidal silver doping
Benefits:
- consistently good filter performance thanks to patented activated carbon Aqualen filtration
- 2-stage filtration, one at 20 micrometres, one at 5 micrometres pore size
- extremely good contaminant retention
- Filter cartridge should be replaced after approx. 6 - 12 months (depending on the installation situation & flow volume)
- compact size
- attractive appearance
- housing made of sturdy stainless steel
- also for hot water up to 75 °C
Contaminant retention:
Removes dissolved chlorine, iron oxide (rust particles), heavy metals such as cadmium, nickel, lead, iron, copper etc.,
microorganisms (> 1 µm), phenol, pesticides, VOCs (volatile organic compounds) and other organic impurities.
A more in-depth analysis of contaminant retention with the 5 micrometre activated carbon block can be found here.
Housing pressure test:
The static pressure test and dynamic pressure test of the filter housing according to DIN EN 14989:2004 are passed.
At the point where the water enters the house, after the backwash filter or the water meter, we recommend 2 of these filters in parallel to have sufficient flow. (single-family home)
The raw material for the activated carbon is coconut shells:
The combination and the matrix used result in a considerable increase in filter effectiveness. Compared with 10" standard activated carbon blocks, the capacity is increased many times over.

When changing the filter of the VIK, it is advisable to place a support directly underneath the filter housing or to secure it appropriately so that the filter housing cannot tip over uncontrollably or fall down when it is unscrewed!
The filter inserts combine a broad adsorption spectrum of contaminants with low pressure loss. Removed are chlorine (up to 99%), sediments, particles and suspended solids down to the stated filter fineness, rust particles (>80%), organic impurities: TOC total organic carbon (phenol, benzene >90% as indicator substances for organic contaminants), guideline value for heavy metals (> 90%), as well as pesticides, VOCs (volatile organic compounds) and substances that impair taste. The Aquaphor activated carbon blocks contain an innovative filter medium made of activated carbon [Activated Carbon Composite ACC] with AQUALEN® [ion-exchange fibres]. The raw material for the activated carbon is coconut shells. The combination and the matrix used result in a considerable increase in filter effectiveness.

Depending on the model, please turn off the water before changing the filter.
The water filter devices have the same performance because the same filter cartridge
is used.
The first difference is the design. The Okato Nature water filter has a wooden head and base, is more solid, has a longer, thicker spout, and a wider base.
The Okato Style water filter has a plastic head and a narrower base. The spout is thinner and shorter. It's smaller and lighter overall, which is advantageous for travel, use in a camper van, or small kitchens.
The Okato Nature water filter, on the other hand, is well suited for use with multi-level aerators or kitchen sinks with very wide rims.
To purify it on a material level, a water filter is needed.
The Aquadea® water swirlers clean the water of all unwanted
Information and give it back its dynamics and natural form.

Yes, the Aquadea water filters also remove drug residues.
The filter performance is between 82% and 98%
Basically, let the water run through until it's cool (the same temperature as straight from the tap). Depending on the filter type, this can be up to 10 liters. If you're away for 3-4 weeks or longer, the cartridges can be stored in the refrigerator. For under-counter models, this means: Turn off the water supply, remove the cartridges, twist them out, wrap them airtight in cling film, and place them in the refrigerator. The cartridges can be stored there for up to four months and then reused. Filter replacement will then be extended by the storage time.

Yes, our countertop water filters also work at low pressure.
The lower the pressure, the longer it takes for the water to run through the device.

The Aquadea® vortex chambers purify the water of all unwanted information and restore its dynamics and natural form. (Hexagonal structures, vortex dynamics of a mountain stream, vitality)
All our products have a thread with the thread size M22 internal thread.
So you need a threaded connection of M22 external thread on your faucet.
If you need a different thread, we offer numerous adapters to make the transition from your thread to our water swirlers or the "Okato" countertop filter.
The ToneOne has an implosion vortex chamber, reducing the flow rate to approximately 3.8 liters per minute. The Trinity has three implosion vortex chambers, reducing the flow rate to approximately 11.4 liters per minute. This, of course, depends on the water pressure at the tap.
To purify it on a material level, a water filter is needed.
The water swirler purifies the water on an energetic level.
Warranty and care of AQUADEA water vortex chambers
We at AQUADEA can offer you a 2-year warranty on our product.
electroplated resonance plates such as silver, gold, ruthenium, platinum, palladium and
With rhodium, there's always the possibility that the metal coating will be damaged after prolonged use, revealing the bronze or titanium base plate. This does not change the energetic effect. In the event of a manufacturing defect, we can detect this and offer a replacement, even under the warranty. However, if the product has not been cared for properly, you must expect that you will not receive a refund for any damage. However, even if you caused the damage yourself, please contact us immediately so that we can quickly find a solution together. To prevent this from happening, read the individual care steps here so that you can preserve the quality of the products as much as possible. Signs of wear, such as minor scratches, are completely normal.
Care step by step
Step 1: Descaling with citric acid
As a basic cleaning step, you should first remove any limescale from the product. Depending on the limescale levels in different regions, you'll need to perform this process with varying frequency, so we can't make a general recommendation. However, you should check every few weeks to see if it's time again. The more regularly you do this, the easier and faster the cleaning will be.
First screw your Trinity or ToneOne and any combination
apart or unscrew the shower plate from the bell. Take a
Glass bowl, fill it about 5cm high with warm water (about 200-400mL),
Add a teaspoon of pure citric acid (e.g., Heitmann) and stir briefly. Let the items soak in the water for 5-15 minutes, depending on the degree of soiling. Then rinse with clean water.
Important! Do not use acetic acid, vinegar essences, vinegar-based products, or other cleaning agents, as these will attack or even destroy the metals and crystals.
Caution! In products containing limestone, such as larimar , lapis lazuli, and azurite-malachite, the gemstones dissolve in citric acid. If you place only the resonating plate in a shower with citric acid, you can still clean the plate. Make sure you fill the bowl with water only 1 cm deep, so that the resonating plate is in contact with the limestone, but not the limestone.
Tip! To avoid limescale deposits caused by standing water, we recommend cleaning the bundle nozzle once a day or the shower plate after showering with a
Pat dry with a dust-free, clean, and soft cotton cloth. To drain the water from the shower hose with one click, we also offer a Nito connector in our shop.
Note for bronze products: Pure bronze products and bronze products with damaged electroplating may develop green oxidation, which visually resembles verdigris. However, verdigris only develops through contact with vinegar.
Step 2: Cleaning with Hagerty Silver & Multimetal foam
Metals can oxidize, and this can lead to further contamination besides limescale. Hagerty's Silver & Multimetal Foam is available for this purpose. Using the included sponge, the foam can be gently dabbed onto the surface until it foams up. Allow it to work until it dries, then rinse the foam off with the sponge under running water. This foam is suitable for all metals and is usually sufficient with regular care.
Step 3: Cleaning with metal-specific cleaning agents
It can happen that due to insufficient care or sometimes depending on the regional water quality, more severe contamination occurs, which then requires more intensive care.
For silver and the metals ruthenium , platinum , palladium , and rhodium, we recommend Hagerty Silver Polish . You can gently dab the polish on with a cotton swab or cotton pad. Allow it to work until it dries. Rinse off the polish under running water with a very soft sponge or cloth.
For gold , which may develop brownish stains, Hagerty offers Gold Clean . For this purpose, the product is first applied to the
Liquid if the size allows. Afterwards, you can
Additionally, the oxidized areas can be cleaned using circular motions with a soft cloth dipped in the liquid. If you're cleaning a shower plate, you can skip the first step and polish the plate directly with the soaked cloth.
For bronze , which is particularly susceptible to corrosion, Hagerty also offers Copper, Brass & Bronze Polish . Bronze is robust, so you can apply a little more pressure than with galvanized products. Apply the polish, let it dry, and then rinse it off with a soft sponge under running water.
